Admission Information

Master of Accounting Program Admission Information

Required documents as follows:

1. Scanned of original bachelor degree certificate from the previous education level (S1 or equivalent) from an accredited program in the appropriate field of science and/or related and approved by the Master of Accounting Program
2. Scanned of an original transcript with a Grade Point Average at the S1 level or equivalent, with the following criteria:

  1. ≥ 2.50 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants who graduated from A accredited programs, or;
  2. ≥ 2,75 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants who graduated from B accredited programs, or;
  3. ≥ 3,00 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants who graduated from C accredited programs, or;
3. Scanned certificate of program accreditation at undergraduate level or equivalent, with the following conditions:

  1. Current and up to date certificate of accreditation, or accreditation print screen from the National Higher Education Accreditation Board (BAN-PT) / LAM-PTKes website
  2. The Program whose accreditation is in the process of being extended is proven by the receipt of accreditation form submission to the BAN-PT / LAM-PTKes obtained from the relevant tertiary institution. Certificate from the relevant university is not accepted
  3. Overseas graduates applicants must have a certificate of diploma equalization from the Ministry of Research and Technology
  4. The admission committee only processes accreditation documents that comply with the provisions.
4. A valid certificate of the academic potential test (maximum 2 years from the date of issuance). The committee only accepts academic potential test results as follows:

PAPs UGM, with a minimum score of 500
Certificate samples and test schedule
TPDA PLTI, with a minimum score of 500
Certificate samples and test schedule
Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) BAPPENAS, with a minimum score of 500
Certificate samples and test schedule
5. A valid certificate of English ability test (maximum 2 years from the date of issuance). The committee only accepts English test results as follows:

AcEPT UGM, a minimum score of 209
Certificate samples and test schedule
TOEP PLTI, a minimum score of 40
Certificate samples and test schedule
International English Testing System (IELTS), minimum score of 5.5
Certificate samples and test schedule
Internet-Based (iBT) TOEFL, minimum score of 50
Certificate samples and test schedule
Institutional Testing Program (ITP) TOEFL, minimum score of 450
Certificate samples and test schedule
6. Confidential recommendations from 2 (two) persons who know candidates at an earlier level of education, Academic Advisor and/or other authorized persons. Recommendations links will be sent by UGM UM Committee to the recommendation giver via email. Make sure the e-mail address is valid and active.
7. A candidate wish list in participating in the Master of Accounting Program which contains, among others, planned topics / research interests as well as the reasons and expectations for participating in the chosen program, planned research topics, and plans after finishing college (template can be downloaded here)
8. Study permit for applicants who are already working (template can be downloaded here);
9. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or Agreement or a Letter of Appointment as a Scholarship Recipient that is still valid
10. Statement Letter of Authenticity Document. (template can be downloaded here)
